I Just wondered if anyone else thought the Menos Grande was completely kickass. I dont know why but just how he was so huge and freaky and everyone was deveastaed by him made him seem awesome to me. I really hope we get some more menos action later.

Eh, I didn't reflect on that ... "guy" ... at all. He's just a big hollow with a pinocchio nose.
I fail to see how a coming together of hollows, to create one über hollow, to then be defeated by two mortal highschool kids with really high spiritual power as being considered bad@$$.
He was freaky, but hardly bad@$$. In my opinion.

Menos Grande was one of the strongest hollows, right?
Ichigo almost killed him (after a bit of powering up, but still ichigo without any serious trainning).
Ichigo is getting his ass kicked by every other shinigami he's fighting now.
What the hell are everybody doing over at the spirit world? if the strongest hollow is at best at the level of a vice captain, then there shouldn't be so much hollows around, espically one such as big and famous as this grande.
Well, Renji (in Episode 30 & 31) did say that shinigami spirit levels were capped when in the mortal world. So perhaps that is the reason they wouldn't necessarily be able to take on the Menos alone on the mortal plane. Let's also not forget that Ichigo received a little aid from Ishida to defeat the Menos (which the Menos actually looked, to me, like it just decided against venturing further and just retreated).

but i don't think menos grandes to be overrated just ichigo is over powered.
Menos Grande probably could easily beat Ichigo, but like previously said, just retreated.
Interesting it is tied up at 6-6 now. But yeah the menos wasnt defeated he just retreated. Didnt feel like messing with ichigo or somthing. His breath must smell horrible at least it looked horrible. Also ishda didnt help ichigo against the menos. he tried to do some stuff but was usless. Menos would butt rape ishda with his nose. Also if you guys rembered how intimidated Rukia was of the Menos and also Sandal hat seemed respectful of it anyway.
Ichigo drove it off (barely). If he was as strong then as he is now (in eps 31-32), he probably could've sent the whole thing off to SS and probably unbalanced the entire universe Quincy style along the way. Where exactly DO hollows fit into the whole SS/Earth balance?

Considering how easily he blocked its zero attack, essentially untrained, and comparing it to some of the captains he's fighting now, Ichigo could've annihilated it if he had been properly trained. But who knows, I could be completely wrong.
Hollows is hell isnt it ? SS/Earth/Hell ?
Evil Humans (like the Bomber in the Chad/Canary arc) can get sent to hell after they become hollows (and I assume if they didn't turn into a hollow either), but Hollows usually end up in SS if they were purified.
Rukia's explanation about the balance and how Quincy's posed a threat to it didn't seem to include hell, so now that you mention that I'm even more confused about tthe whole balance thing and where Hollows fit in.
i see now, maybe hollows live in a mangled part of SS
Hollows live in the area between SS and Earth. That how they stay off of Shinigami radar,leaving only when hungry. There is a hell and thats for those that commited sins and evil acts before dying. The acts of the hollows are purified by the blades of the shinigami's allowing them to head to SS if they were good in life. If not to hell they go.
