Final Fantasy XI: Onlineness :D

I just bought this game last night. took up like 6 gigs.. Im not too happy about that but w/e.. Then I updated it for 3 hours and it was done early this morning.. I really hope I get my money's worth. (before I get burned for creating this topic, I searched the gaming forum for a similar thread..) Who else plays [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]?.. Id love to meet some of you guys in game.. I was told a world pass is pretty cheap, so if we arent on the same server that can be fixed e.e(if you wanna play with my character I will make [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]).. Also if you have any funny FFXI stories that will encourage me to keep up with the payments (Im gonna be broke [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]).. please chime in.

Yes, Sadly, it does.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img].. its about the same price if you were playing for Ragonarok Online officail servers (12.99 I believe) .. and its FFXI e.e 11 not 9 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]but thats probably a typo .. Im not perfect either.. I made plenty in that first post I am about to correct >>

If the game wasn't pay to play, I would've gotten this game for PS2 as soon as possible. And I'd get the harddrive for it to install the new updates. Sadly, that didn't happen. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Awww.. well Its 99 dollars with that HD o.0 .. and you can load like burnt games to it once your done updating the FFXI stuff.. but yeah.. the p2p I dont like either.. But ill deal with it..

I use to play this game like last year. My friend had 2 copies he was paying for (one for computer one for ps2). He let me borrow his ps2 and it was fun for a while. Tarutaru monks are the way to go. Oh and I had spent alot mroe time playing the tetra card game.

no like this game and i dont like to pay i would of went for guild wars then final fantasy XI

i played for about a month, but my parents made me stop because i was failing 3 classes [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]. it can get kind of time consuming, and i wasnt even above level 11

edit: since the game came out like two years ago it takes along time to actually catch up. plus 45 dollar expansions. a fun game, just expect it to take forever.

FFXI is one big grind. It's good for hardcore gamers because it is very time consuming. I played till like level 20 or so? And I wouldn't really compare FFXI to Guild Wars, GWs is not really your standard MMORPG, since most of it takes place in instances.

update on the madness: from lvl15 to lvl20 in 4 hrs. at 3 in the morning. no, no im not addicted.
