It makes me wonder, just what kind of power fear of terrorism alone has nowadays? Could anyone see this happeneing in America, or is it a facet of the continual exposure to daily attacks that the Iraqi civilians suffer

Yeah something like that happened at the mall around my house. It's one of the biggest in the east coast, 6 floors, and up until a year ago it was sinking and falling apart, you can still feel the ground shake during busy hours. Someone said there was a bomb in the mall and the whole place had to be evacuated, good thing no one got hurt though.
