Recently it seems like I'm getting pop up adds while I'm on gotwoot. I was wondering if anyone else was experienceing this or if i somehow jsut picked up some adware from somewhere else or something. Also I have used Adaware and Spybot to try to prevent from getting so many pop ups and also have windows xp pop up blocker enabled but for some reason it isnt even activated when I get these new pop ups.
You must have gotten it from somewhere else cause I'm not getting any. And I don't have any spybot or adware or pop up blocker which reminds me that I should get one.
Do a scan with AntiVir... it's small, free, and effective for finding crap in your pc...

or just use firefox, you'll never have to worry about popups.

Yeah, I don't know how I survived before Firefox was made, what with the godly tab system instead of window system..
No pop ups here.

heh .... yeah, if you're getting popups from here, you're definitely a victim of adware.
Opera is free these days too, though. And firefox is pretty great.
I just use IE with google toolbar, they block most of the pop-ups I experience.
i never had a popup on gotwoot, and i'm using IE wih sp2
