Well, I'm happy Sai is turning into a traitor. Unless we find out later that its all a ruse and he's just going there to try and assassinate Sasuke. Then I'll be even happier.
not what they envelope says, but what it enclose. My guess would be some secret forbin ninjutsu scroll or some top secret document like the list of top ninja in Konoha or the battle plan and location of each ninja in Konoha.

so team seven must look for yet another replacement for sasuke. it must really suck constantly losing your teammates to bleached faced, pedophile. (insert random michael jackson joke). so this arc comes to an end, and i have to say i really enjoied. besides the convieniant (sp?)plot device of yamato being a poor mans shodaime its been awsome. the build up was great, and the fight wasnt draged on to the end of time like sakura and chiyo vs sasori. im a little sad to see sai leave the team early. sure most people thinks hes an ass, but i thought he was funny. oh well him and sasuke can angst over the lack of brotherly love together. hell... maybe they will become best friends... and sasuke will kill him for making too many penis jokes gaining the mangekyou sharingan. nah... im sure they will hate each other.
on another note... im really pissed that kishimoto found one more thing to keep up in the dark about. bad enough we havent seen all the faces of the akatsuki members, have a vague understanding of what they want, we dont know what the uchiha secret is, what happened to sais brother, and now we have to wonder about what sais mission really is and what the hell was in that envelope.
overall i really cant wait to see whats next. yamato heard everything and they are most likely reporting back to konoha to get further orders from tsunade. was what kabuto told them about the whereabouts of sasuke true? will tsunade send them to that location next? she wants to keep naruto on the move, but im voting on the akatsuki making another bold move in the next story. im excited.
.....I'm waiting for Sasuke to make Sai grow his hair out and dye it blonde, then have Orochimaru go out and recruit a random female so they can have "Bizarro Team Kakashi' with Kabuto playing the role of Kakashi....
they could always reserect tayuya, shes got the hair color for the role
Awesome chapter Kabuto taking down Sai was cool, and is Sakura really having a change of heart? I hope she is poor Naruto deserves it.
Now that Yamato knows that Sai is leaving with Orochimaru I wonder whats going to happend to Danzou when they get back to Konoha. we might see a confrontation between him and Tsunade.

if were really lucky in the next chapter we might get to see Oro bring sai to his new mansion where we'll finally get a look at the new and improved sasuke. It would be awesome If kishimoto debuts the new character design to commemorate the 300th chapter.
Yes I think that we will finally see Sasuke and what better way to showing him then having his replacement meat him first. Sai will then surely say something along the lines of "So, this is Sasuke"

1.Pointless battle: Noone died, nothing else happened.
2.Everything as from fans predicted: Yamato stopping Naruto, Orochimaru getting away again
3. Uber-stupid luck, that Naruto wears Tsunades crystal...if not, how would Yamato have been able to stop Naruto?
4.Only awsome scene was, when Orochimaru stabbed Sai...but then, it was only a bunshin...would have been great, if Oro wouldnt have given Sai attention and really killed him^^

Seeing Naruto's skin come back was pretty cool.
um... ... ... how do i put this nicely? ... fuck it. thats fucking idiotic. by that logic a great deal of the chuunin exam, the sannin fight, and, hell, just about every fight in the series was pointless. of course no one died. everyone knew that from the start. its too early for yamato or sai to die because they are pretty much underdeveloped, and until sasuke has a change of heart orochimaru wont die. the entire point of the fight was to thicken the plot by having some dastardly evil old dude have a connections with an even more dastardly evil old due leading to more turmoil for the village of the leaf. no one has to die for a fight to have a point. no one died in gaara vs deidara, but it established an entire chain of events.Quote:

I like Naruto, and the battle itself was awesome.
I also am sure, that the manga will get better soon, but:
This chapter and the outcome of the battle sucked hard. In my opinion, that is.
