well assertn has the 'im better then you n00bs cuz i dont live in my parents basement and make more then all your allowences combined' comments with the patented "lols".....he'll make you feel insignificant and wrong even if you just said "2+2=4".
On the other hand, Y has the cold calculating harshness of someone you can only find on the intarweb. He'll prove you wrong, make fun of you, and make you feel even gayer then...well....him.
But due to Y's long absense and assertn's role as a mod, people will naturally know assertn more. I think on irc Y has the bigger e-genitalia, and not so virgin either. But on the forums assertn and his 'lols' take the cup.

I find it interesting that this matchup generated the least discussion, but the extremely obvious matchup between SK and Arcness where Arcness destroys him generated four pages of discussion in the same amount of time.

For me, I don't recall too much silliness from Y, and have only seen his posts in these e-penis contest threads. While he does seem like kind of a dick, it might be just to garner votes.
Assertn seems like a pretty good guy, just with a penchant for sarcasm. He says a lot of the stuff I'm thinking, and seems to be able to post them eloquently enough where people don't accuse him of trolling or causing animosity for the sake of it.
So I'm abstaining from voting, unless Y keeps up being an a-hole.
I voted for Assertn b/c he's not gay(at least I don't think he is).
Although he may end up being gay by the end of the contest, who knows.
