Spiders?

Whenever I go to "Who's Online?", I see spiders. Yahoo! Slurp Spider, Google Spider, etc. What are those? My only guess is that they are bots. :confused:

Yeah, they are search bots, cataloging topical information on the site for use on search engines such as Yahoo!, Google, etc.

Pretty freaky stuff eh? It alludes perfectly back to the spiders in Minority Report and the Matrix movies. We're dooming ourselves.
