Episode 1 - Strike-Subs
- - - - -
Well, well. This made very little sense. It started at 110% speed, and only accelerated towards the end. Don't ask for any background info, not of the setting nor the characters. But craziness is a style, of course, and worked very well here. Plus the visuals were very good in this one, details and graphics. Add to that we have both Jun Fukuyama and Yukana (Lelouch & CC) in the cast and who can complain?
I have little idea of what's going on but I'll keep watching to find out, because this is defitely worth it based on the first ep.
StrikeS's subs were decent enough though the font was kind of aggressive.
-
I guess this is the Sunrise's winter season high production value romp. DLing!
-
I watched it... thought it was different. I wasn't bowled over by anything in particular although I thought the background detail in the space scenes was very well done. Will give it another episode or two to develop.
-
This show makes me go O_o. But atleast Fukuyama Jun and Yukana's in it.
QT-Arms just sounds ridiculous.

Episode 2 by Enlius-subs?:

Let me know if they suck.
-
The subs are fucking terrible, and they seem to only appear in VLC.
The OP Song makes my ears bleed.

It was either in I think Gundam 00 or Code Geass? Where they were like "You have control!" and then then someone was like "I have control!". It was pretty funny.
-
It is actually quite common in mecha anime. I think I have heard it at least 10 times in about 4-5 series.
-
It has been proven scientifically that if you build an AI and give it Lelouch's voice, its processing power doubles:

Edit: This is starting to make a lot more sense now. I kind of like how the main character girl is basically from a wealthy family and has no plans of her own, except avoiding an arranged marriage, and thus was good material to be manipulated by the (Britannian, har har) AI.
However, the factions are still very vague. There's the spacestation thing where everybody lives, but what was that council and what exactly are their aims? Do they really only try to hide what's going on or are they also trying to do something more active. Then we have Earth and this new AI controlled colony ship. And who was controlling the snake at the very end? Was it the AI or somebody the AI wants to fight with the antimatter cannon?

Delicate Leopard's tough mirror:
Episode 5 - yesy

This series is still as jumpy as ever, but I guess we are slowly beginning to see the bigger picture even if not yet the motives of the bigger players. Akiha's reason for continuing to tolerate Leopard's obscene personality is at least realistic enough: she would be too bored to just lie at home instead of flying around in a mecha stealing stuff...
-
Well, I just marathoned up to five and I have to say, thats the most I've ever enjoyed spontaneous fun in a show. I love all of Leopards interactions.
We most definitly need to see more twirling, missile dodging, and antimatter cannons though. Heck, just more shots of the colony and its maneuvering in general. Awesome.

Release update:

Episode 7 - yesy
Episode 3 - StrikerS
Episode 4 - StrikerS
Episode 5 - StrikerS
Episode 6 - StrikerS
Episode 7 - StrikerS
Episode 8 - StrikerS
I switched to Yesy when they started to release, but ended up downloading ep 8 from Strikers due to Yesy showing no hurry to release the ep. The wait was getting kind of long, and I needed my fix of Lelou... Leopard goofiness. It was as bizarre as ever. Truly no way to know what's going to happen next in this series.
-
Hehe, this show gives me a healthy dose of lulz when I watch it, and having Lelouche's VA for Leopard doesnt hurt either.
-
So, I started this series, so far it's really good.
I think I watched episode 9, but what's up with this turning into a baseball anime with pretty much zero relation with the 8 previous episodes?
If it weren't for the characters being the same I would have thought I had downloaded the wrong thing. Was that supposed to be some kind of interlude? It differed a bit from the preview after episode 8 too.
Episode 9 - StrikerS
It says that the torrent is "unregistered" for me, so I found it on Animebreaker.com

Yeah, it was a really weird episode. Almost like a joke, but making anime episodes is so expensive I can't quite believe that either. No idea what the director was thinking, honestly.
At least it was entertaining enough in its own way.

Episode 10 is out.

Had to get it from lolipower.org, because once again, I get unregistered torrent... I need to register somewhere to download their release now don't I?
