Finally, the boss is probably a Quincy/Soul Reaper hybrid who happens to be Ichigo's grandpa.
Kenpachi is just uberly strong when he doesn't even have a bankaļ. For different reasons, he should be very difficult to manage for those Quincies.
He didn't even took his eye power cap off to get that kill.
Although I guess the guy in black is there for a reason, probably to manage such uncertainties.
The Old Man was not really convincing when fighting Aizen. He would probably need to use his Bankaļ to have some hopes getting to the level, but he'd lost it. So I guess only Ichigo and Kenpachi remain.
Oh, and some some unknowns like past espada, Urahara and the likes.

KENPACHI!!! With eyepatch on to boot. Though I would be willing he forgot its a power-up.
If there is one constant in Bleach, it's that Kenpachi does awesome shit.
With that said, I expect him to get worf'd.
getting worf'd by the head honcho is still much better than any other captain has done so far.
next chapter: something else rather than kenpachi fight

side note: we all know that Byakuya is not dead, he will just gain some new power through some enlightment and win.
