A small forum for newbies?

sorry if there`s one already in here (i cant find any)

how about setting up a pinned forum for newbies to introduce themselves and the admins reply to welcome them. i saw it in a lot of other forum sites and is a success

Newbies must pass the initiation test. They must wal on hot coals holding a large rock strapped in a big fat jacket, with gloves and ear covers and with a hot water bottle in their jacket.

Well while I like the idea of the rules quiz http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/wink.gif just because the people who on there first post go for the record of most rules broken drive me insane. Anyway this would definatly just be spam I'm sorry guys but no mod will ever know all of you best way to get to be known is to post well and often.
