Thought I was reading a love-com manga for a minute there.
Kubo didn't quite get the note about keeping the same mood throughout the entire arc.
Which makes it impossible to enjoy the fun bits and be invested in the serious parts.
It's already impossible to be invested in the serious parts, so I'm actually okay with the fun bits.
Oh man I forgot all about kurotsuchi's fabulous coat.
