RERideD: Tokigoe no Derrida

I'm at episode 7, still: This is kind of a positive surprise. It's a bonafide adventure story that keeps going forward with each episode, has good characters and manages to cram in dialogue without resorting to static, dragging scenes.

Unfortunately, what's holding this anime back the most is the average animation quality. Had this been given the budget of some of the more hyped shows, I'm sure it'd have gotten more attention.

That's not to say that this is a masterpiece. Its story does little special, and it has the dumbest version of time travel I've ever encountered in fiction. Still, it has a nice jrpg-like group of heroes and, as I mentioned, it presses forward with each episode.

I'd recommend it to people who are looking for a pure adventure story without gag-comedy.
