I saw this anime about 5 years ago and still find it to be one of the dopest. Eventhough it doesn't really have an ending.
Yes, you reading correctly. Because there weren't any chapters in the manga at the time the anime was in production the series stopped.
So if your interested in knowing what happens after episode 42, read the manga.
AF-F is the only group currently doing Flame of Recca so if you want it, you should visit their anime channel on IRC or get it of bittorrent.

Ok,im a BIG flame of recca fan,the anime totally kick ass.And just like SuntUrioN,the end of the anime is not the ending of flame of recca,alot of things are unresovled in the anime.Luckly ive found a BT link for all of the manga(sorry cant give it out just yet,but if i ever get it all i plan on making a new torrent link and the seeding it)reason why i cant is because this site hates leechers like mad,and this file is rarely seeded.
kaigan i know of a place were there is alink for all 42 episodes(HQ too),but the main seeders computer is on the fritz and hasnt been seeding all this week,alot of us are stuck at 28% completed status.If he starts seeding again,ill give out the link right away.

Flame of Recca fan,
if you know where i can get Flame Of Recca, plz let em know. I trying out new anime besides Naruto, NFONS, and ROCH. I heard Flame of Recca is pretty good but not much luck finding the sites. I only found AF-F and that's pretty much it.

Flame of RECCA SUCKS BADLY. It's 42 eps of you hoping you didn't waste 42 eps waiting for something cool to happen. Honestly. It's basically a ong drawn out tournament thing with weapons that have elemental powers but other than that it sucks there is absolutley no plot. I mean the first 15 eps he's trying to save his girlfriend then for some god awful reason he wagers the same girl he wasted 15 eps trying to save as the tournamente fee. The main caracter is cool the series has SOOOOOO much potential it hooks you with that but after the first 15 or so eps you begin to realize it takes a turn for the worse far worse. Why don't you try GunGrave, Hellsing, Samurai Deeper, or basically anything else that isn't RECCA. Please....... I know there have to be RECCA fans out there but keep in mind i'm not exagerating there is no PLOT in RECCA non at all......... So if you are a fan and you happen to read this I ask you WHY????? WHY ????? What can you possibly like in RECCA???? Ahh also you could try X tv it's a little slow but at least it has a ploy.... or DNangel or E's otherwise, Avenger (so so) or Shadow Skill if you want senseless fighting but with some plot you could try Shadow Skill..... Try www.animesuki.com if you haven't already it has a lot of stuff.......................

Why are all you lot going on about how shit Flame Of Recca is....He asked for a placew to get it, not YOUR view on it, personally i liked it.

I think the subbing group here: Anime Forever Page has Flame of Recca episodes, and appears to be releasing them once in a while.
I have never heard of FoR anime being cancelled because it caught up with the manga though, I thought it just ran out of funding.
