I was wandering if Kyuubi was the bost of the foxes just like Gama Bunta is the boss of the frogs. So far we have seen that contracts can be made with Frogs, Snakes, Turtles and Dogs. Now, if it is possible to sign a contract with the foxes, who do you think it was that sent Kyuubi to Konoha? And what now of the foxes without there boss?
If you note Bosses are not dissimilar from there underlings (lol the irc users will remember me for that http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif), so unless I'm mistaken nine tail foxes are not common so I think Kyuubi is simply a demon, as mentioned in ep 1.
Or something like that.
My thinking Nine-tails is highest fox demon then so on the lower amount of tails the lesser u are a demon, take Tails from Sonic he has 3 and he is a good guy. yeah i think kyuubi is one of the "Great Demons". like the monster inside gaara is probably one too. (thats not a spoiler is it?)

from what i understand the Nine tails isnt something that can be summoned and is like a legendary out of control monster, i dunno though i might be wrong

correct me if i am wrong, in myth, there is only the nine tailed fox, they come in 9. no more no less (except the common one tailed fox). therefore the theory of rank base on the number of taisl is ummmm...........invalid??

Yeah, apparently Kyuubi is some legendary Japanese demon, one of the 9 or 7 legendary demons or something like that. Not sure of the exact details. He's not a summon or anything.

It seems that most Jounin have summons. But I'm assuming too much.

There is not. Kyubi is one of the Youma and is not bound to any summoning contract like Gamma Bunta.
I believe the nine-tails fox demon appears during an eclipse (or a special eclipse happening every 1,000 yrs or something.)

Just a theory.... if went along that line of thought then you could say Kyuubi is a just an story.... something that's just part of culture and didn't exist.

Yes, you definitely can't summon Nine-Tails. I think Nine-Tails is one of the greatest demons in the world (or maybe even the greatest). And it's unique for sure.
