I always play anime in Windows media player i didn't need to download some new codecs because of 64 compare to all the others. But i didn't see the DivX sign down in the right corner during the intro.

I always play anime in Windows media player i didn't need to download some new codecs because of 64 compare to all the others. But i didn't see the DivX sign down in the right corner during the intro.
Was there a quality decrease in 64 or have they just been smart and compressed the episode. This episode was at 147mb or something and 62 on 214 mb, are they testing different sizes on the episodes to see which one's the best? episodes around 50-60 is around 174, in that time they had the same size but now it seems that they are testing sizes? can't they have one size 180mb or something.
i was wondering why this episode was 140 something mb but others were 200+ mb. Maybe they just compressed it but the quality of the episode is up to par and great. just as good as othe episodes or maybe even better. I am glad that they compressed it to 140 something mb, so that means I can put more episodes if i can fit more episodes on one cd. like before i can put 4 episodes but now maybe like 5 or 6 episodes of they stay at this compressed state.

It's a new codec,scan it.My WM9 had to download a new mpeg layering codec.

If that is so, why do people need other codecs to play this but they had no trouble playing 63.
