It seems that this country is nearing another economical depression in another 40 years or so. The cost of the war in Iraq is enough to make this country to go in dept and to get the money this country needs, the taxes may have to go up or the government may have to borrow money from our allied nations and will fall into more dept. How should we avoid another economic depression? I would like to hear what you think, this country must do.

Some possible ideas….. I might instate all of these when I become President Muhahahhaha.
1. Make prostitution legal, and start taxing the hookers.
2. Same goes for drugs/taxing.
3. Stop giving the Native Americans all of these tax breaks/free housing/ everything else.
Now that they have all of those casinos tax them as they should be taxed.
4. Get rid of all Government funded Minority scholarships. Just because you’re black/ white/ jewish/ asian/ Native American; doesn’t mean you should get any more money to
go to school.
5. Get rid of all the tax breaks for the rich. So what if they’re losing more money we should all give up the same percentage of our pay.

7. Government formed/funded lemon-aid stands in Canada, and Mexico could help bring some cash in.
8. Take over a few small rich countries.

I question your source where did you hear this, not once have i heard this and i have tons of friend that are into politics. Even if the war with iraq which couldn't have cost the US that much operation desert storm was more extensive i believe. Second of all its not like were doing this for free.... The last time the depression came about was due to the stock market drop drastically for many diffrent reasons it had nothing to do with cost. So im pretty sure where ever you read that is nothing but some angry poli sci major bitching about the war in iraq. BTW were already in debt its called the defeceit(sp?). So this is nothing new.
I agree that this dosn't sound too true. Iraq wasn't hard to take over, they even attempted to incite the local population of iraq in order to cut costs anyway. They successfully did that too in some areas, which saved America tons, at the cost of innocent lives.
They also didn't need to use much against Iraq, because the military might of America is so much stronger. For instance, they don't need to send a whole fleet of bombers, but just a few. Because Iraqs anti-air defence wasn't all that great. Etc etc.
The war against iraq was probably the cheapest war America has ever be involved in. They also got oil to help gain back some of the cost of what they used to make the war in the first place.
Oh as for economical ideas. If worst comes to worst, they could do a company tax rule. They tax companes an additional 3 or 5% on top of the standard tax. Because America has such a high population count, that companies gain a lot by going to America, a mere 5% extra tax wouldn't reduce their profit margin by much, but considering all the hundreds of different companies in America, it would be a huge increase in income.
Also, they could easily cut the amount of money they spend on the military. They have the biggest and most powerful military power in the world, what reason is there for having such an army? Does it actually look like anyone intends to attack America any time soon? America are picking out the ones that might attack them first anyway, and the ones that they are taking out don't even have nearly as much military might anyway. America dosn't need such an army really, they can afford to cut it down just a little if they are getting desperate on the economics.
Did you know that their military alone consumes a little over half of America's income alone? jeez, it's ridiculous (sp?)
