I am sick and tired of reading people's post that imply that Kakashi equal or better then Kabuto. Well, just cause he can do ONE move that can put the whole stadium to sleep doesn't show jack shit. Infact, we haven't seen what Kakashi is fully capable of either. To take sides in their rivalry is very opionated, unless they were to duke it out with one another then theres no way one of us can just say 'oh, kakashi is teh rulerz' or 'kabuto ownz j00'.

Well Kakashi himself said that Kabuto was stronger then him. And, that he needed to train hard if this is the kind of people that Orochimaru has with him. Kabuto rocks and the fact that he can go unnoticed up until now show it as well.
So far all we know in the anime is that Oro said Kabuto could take on Kakashi. Just because he can use a powerful genjutsu doesn't mean he is way stronger than Kakashi. Kakashi, Gai, and even Sakura were able to break out of it.
Also he didn't put the entire stadium to sleep, only the section Naruto was in.
we havent even seen many genjutsu, so we cant really judge the difference between powerful and weak genjutsu attacks. it could have been incredibly easy for kabuto to do that since everyone is concentrated into one spot, you never know.
When Kabuto goes to kill Sasuke after his fight in the preliminaries, Kakashi says that Kabuto is stronger. The only reason that Kabuto didn’t kill Sasuke is because even though he is working for Orochimaru he is still a good guy and also did not truly want to go against Orochimaru.

Most of the junins are very good ninjas Kakashi and Gui are great ninjas and Sakura can see through genjutsus (this was shown in the anime after Kakashi entered team 7 to the exams, this is probably the only good thing about Sakura).
lol if you're gonna judge them based on their genjutsu skills, then Kakashi is stronger.
Sakura saw through Kabuto's genjutsu at the stadium, but she got toally owned when Kakashi used his genjutsu during the genin exam.
Sure she may hav gotten a little (little little) stronger since then, but if Kabuto is oh so powerful like u say, she shouldve fell for it.

But I think that Kakashi will take him...because...he's fucking Kakashi. He's so hyper-badass that he has to be stronger. It's the way anime works.

Kabuto's Feathery Sleep w/e it is called only worked MOST of them because not all of the people are ninjas.
I don't know what subbing you were watching, but I don't remember any direct quoting of anyone saying that Kabuto was stronger than Kakashi.
What I remember is Orichimaru saying "You're only as strong as Kakashi" and then later Kakashi saying something loosely around the lines of "Kabuto is stronger than I thought. I will have to train hard if Orichimaru has people like him under his command"

I totally agree.
they use different styles of attack, kabuto uses medical related stuff (cos hes a doctors son i presume) like the healing thing, and the opposite on kiba, he can affect the human body without using force.
kakashi however uses physical attacks such as chidori, and he is very fast, and can copy whatever kabuto pulls on him. so in my opinion i think kakashi would win if kabuto didnt manage to outsmart him.
Kabuto stronger than kakashi? pffff what's this? a joke? Kabuto is a freak who idolize orochimaru-sama (like me, afterall) but he is no match for kakashi. only take a look when kabuto tries to kill sasuke, what kabuto do then? run awaaaaaay so fast from kakashi. the fact than he can uses genjutsu is not decisive.
