Naruto game on NGC??!?!?

I read later that there was a game on ngc of Naruto!!!!!!1 But i dont remember where i read this so sorry to have done a topic on this even if it maybe dosen't matter...maybe i sound freak but......yes i am so be whit it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

so i was telling that i read a Fuck*ng nice news *the game of naruto on Gc* i Have a ngc and i search for a great game to play...but first i really dont know if the game is in the store that i rent videogames..and 2nd if its really good like the anime!

heres some great news for you : there are TWO naruto games on the NGC, one on the PS2 (they are also in the process of making another one on the PS2) and i think there are also 2 more games on the GBA...
the game is great (never played it, but my friends at school say it rocks.. they play it for hours) id recommend getting naruto 2 on the NGC, cause it has a lot of characters
btw, the game isnt in english, its in japanese... but its easy to figure out

naruto 2 for gamecube has over 20 playable characters and 4 player simultaneous support
the graphics are also verry nice and the game imo plays kinda like a hybrid of a typical fighter + smash bros + a 3d wrestling game

oh yeah, if u are gonna get the game, make sure u chip ur NGC
i dont really know about that kind of stuff with chipping ur console or anything, but if ur NGC is american made, then you wont be able to play any non-american games (like any jap games like naruto and winning eleven) unless you chip it.. i think thats how it goes

Actually with the NGC you could just use the Freeloader bootdisc. It's simple. Completely hassle free. It lets you load and play import GameCube games without modifying your console (so your warranty is kept intact). It'll work on us/uk units .

Also you should get a separate memory card to save the info from Japanese games as such because it will mess up your regular mem cards.

Thx guys, But i don't have enought money those time lol so i won't be able to chip my Ngc or buy naruto game [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]...I was thinking about rent the game but A77AListic opens my eyes that the game was just in japanese :'(

well that suck for me lol...i wish that Naruto will be in canada someday or that i have money to chip my gc and import the game to my home [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]...lol somebody know how does it cost to import a game? and chip a gc?

you can rearrange the teams in any possible combination you want

Simply put, there's No free-for-all mode included within the 4 player game.

and the way the freeloader works, btw....is its this mini cd you put in your gamecube and run, on the screen it will say "free loader loaded, insert game now"....then you remove the cd while the gamecube is still on, then insert the japanese game, and it will run. thats all there is to it.

Okay, here's all the information you want AND need.

There are 2 Naruto games on GameCube. The second one is an updated version of the first one, so IF you're going to buy one make sure you get the second. The game's title is Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen (2).

The game is completely in Japanese. However, at www.gamefaqs.com there's translation FAQs for download. You can also get a translation manual I made at there links:

This means there's no problem playing the game in Japanese. For now, no EUR / US release is planned. Because the series isn't known there yet it's unlikely it will be translated and released within a few years. There's a possiblilty it will NEVER be released there, so import the Japanese version. It also gives you the original Japanese character voices which is cool.
Import it from www.playasia.com, I got mine from them too. They have fast delivery and cheap shipping charges.

Next: the region problem. You DO NOT need any mod chip at all. Just buy yourself a FreeLoader disc (also at playasia.com) or an Action Replay (cheat disc with build in FreeLoader). Insert the disc in your European / American GameCube, change the disc for the Naruto gamedisc and you can play it, just takes a few seconds. It's also NOT necessary to buy a seperate memorycard, you can save the Japanese data together with EUR / US data on one single card.

About the game: Naruto is a cell-shaded fighter like Killer Instinct on SNES. This means fast gameplay, cool combo's and special moves taken from the series. Naruto (2) also contains a 4-player mode. You can play 1vs2, 2vs2, 3vs1 and Free For All (YES, THAT IS POSSIBLE. DON'T BELIEVE THAT MORON HERE WHO POSTED THAT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE). Check reviews at Gamefaqs.com for detailed information.

I hope you can do something with this information. The game is great fun, so I really suggest you save some money and import it. Check playasia for their Naruto 2 + FreeLoader bundle, saves you some money.

i think i remember hearing sources mentioning no FFA option in the game as well, and i was kinda pissed about that until i found out it wasnt actually the case once i popped the cd in. Also that review site talks about auto switching to whoever is closest to you, which is a lie. Only way to switch is manually hitting Z, get attacked by someone you arent targetting, or killing your current target. I think they made a few changes last-minute before distribution
