Is haku a guy or a girl?

I know haku says he/she's a man, but i couldnt tell if that was symbolic or for real, cause he/she is one hot man

because of his clothing, his face and hair, and body and uhh yeah

i think haku is a girl and just said she was a guy to naruto cause she didnt want naruto to go easy on her while fighting.

thats the same thing as what i thought, and also that since being a ninja seems to be owned by men it might be beneficial for her to say shes a man
