Upcoming Filler Arc

I've heard that in the newest issue of the Japanese version of Newtype, the creators of the Naruto anime stated that after this current arc, there is going to be a rather long filler arc so that the show does not catch up with the manga.

The arc will not follow anything from the manga, and it will be written by the creator of Medabots.

The arc will also feature a new character that is not seen in the manga.

IMO, if this arc is anything like the special episodes we have been getting, I may just have to read the manga. :\

Hm, there was already a Post about this it's on the second page called "Argh this totally sucks new character"

I don't mind as long as it is decent at least, though I wish it wasn't about another character and about another team or two of Konoha Genins.

perhaps itll co-op with the upcoming movie.

and get killed there , to get rid of the char
