Buzzer Beater

This show is gonna air 2 feb in japan and is based on a manga from Inoue Takehiko who wrote Vagabond,Slam dunk etc.

And because of that i read in anime-keep forum that they will mostly like sub this anime so look forward if you like Takehiko works or sport animes.

i watched and read slam dunk and love it.
ill probably watch it if it becomes subbed.

I love sport animes so im looking forward to this. Plus Slam dunk is not bad from what i have heard and i read vagabond so i expect this to good.

nope... Slam Dunk is awesome compared to most other sport anime... they cut it short though...

what sport will it be based on?
basketball again or something new? it sounds like it involves beating people up, hocky?

The mangaka apprently loves the game of Basketball thats why this is his third Basketball manga.

Third basketball manga?
does Kaede Purple count as one of them (slam dunk + Kaede Purple +new thing =3) or is Kaede Purple a stand alone thing, and there's another basketball manga?
it's just that Kaede Purple is kinda shitty, so i was hoping there's something else as well

Buzzer Beater came out in manga form around 5 to 6 years ago. It's more of a fantasy action manga than a sports based one. I can't really recall as it was a long time ago since I read the manga.

Its has to a sport based, we dont need more fantasy action, i need more sport animes.

just in case any of you want to know what the story is about, it is about... like psyke says... a fantasized basketball... if ur not very good with the fantasized word, u can think of it as basketball+dragonball

the manga books are small and they are kinda like children books (4 vol. total) so this will definitely be a short series.... unless they prolong it

i just saw raw for it on some site for episode 1 anime idea on what groups might be doing it?

i'm basketball fanatic. can't wait to see buzzer beater. I hope this series will be as good as slam dunk if not hopefully better. by the way, is it liscenced? has any fansub released its first eps?
