This anime is quite nice, it's working on the characters well at the start, like an episode dedicated to certain characters so far.
But has anyone else noticed the blonde one with the sword says something at the end of alot of her sentances? I just noticed in episode 3. I don't know much Japanese so it could just be a word that happens to be said alot but it sounds like a character thing. I just wondered if it means anything or not.
Below : Awww, that's no fun. Well I guess it helps get to know the character's personality a little at least...

It's just polite speaking, nothing else.

I don't really know what to say about this... There isn't a single trace of a bigger plot in vicinity. Episodes like this feel like fillers, especially when you kind of can expect something bigger, based on the intro of the first episode. But this episode was mostly simple-minded, witless adventure that didn't certainly change anything at all, nor advance anything. It was entertaining as it was, I'm not saying that, but I wonder how long they can afford to air episodes so empty of plot elements.

Well, let's watch Himawari to pass the time while waiting for Utawarerumono...
Episode 5 - Mendoi
Edit: Actually a pretty funny episode. Still no sign what-so-ever of any bigger plot, but excepting that it was a fine episode. But Himawari surely has chosen a prime candidate to be her master...

Seriously, even with my trusty Necronomicon I had considerable troubles finding a conjuration strong enough to bring this thread up from its early grave, where it descended half a year ago. But here we are, nonetheless, with this corpre of a series that looks, surprisingly enough, as fresh as ever, if not even better due to a dvd source...
Episode 6 - Mendoi
