Community renewed for Season 5

Still loving it, so this is good news for me :)

It's a travesty that this show's ratings are low enough to be worried that there might not be a next season.

ESP Uchiha! I was literally thinking the exact words "this show is a travesty" when I clicked onto the page.

well, I wasn't that much enticed with the season finale.. It's not to say that I didn't laugh, just that I didn't feel it clicking into place.
my fav episode this week is probably the bodyswitch. that's how freaky Friday should work.

Pierece (Chevy Chase) was wasted for most of the season, it would have been better for him to have just one episode of him (Halloween) rather than two lines in every episode.

but hell, bad community is still better than the best big bang and family guy, so I'll be happy to get another season.

Well, Chevy had apparently been acting like an ass and even made some racist remark on the set at one point which got him fired, or "exited" the show as its stated in some articles.

I'm not sure how that affected season 4, but he won't be back in season 5.

While the following actually confirms nothing at all of the sort, I'm gonna go ahead anyway and say it confirms my suspicion that Dan Harmon's departure from the show was a result of conflict with Chevy Chase.

I'm guess at NBC pulled a good old "I've made a huge mistake" after seeing the catastrophe that was last season.
