plus side of being a manga reader is not being hounded by endless childish polls

Go on and read it. Kishimoto wrote the manga with the intent to have people read it.

Hm well...
I found that I enjoyed both watching anime-only previously and reading manga now. Switching or not depends on your reasons (although you've probably read the manga by the time this post is up... meh). Basically both are pretty incredible but the downside is the 1 week wait with each. Both will have it when you reach the current releases, though. The benefit I find now is that I know all the speculations in a manga forum are truly speculations and not some "pretended accurate guess" or whatnot. So, everything I read doesn't lose so much of a "suspense" or "surprise" delight.

yep, it immunanes you from spoilers... a friend of mine tried to find Kidonomaru pictures in kazza and he ended up with the manga, and know he knows who will fight with him...
when you read manga, you know that whatever guess you make, there's still a chance of it coming true, it's like the diffrence between watching a sport game live, then watching it 5 hours after it's finished...

Reading the manga won't solve your problem, will it?? (If your only motivation to read the manga is to stop the waiting)
Keep in mind, once you catch up with the latest chapter of the manga... you'd still have to wait. And that is waiting every week for just a few pages of the manga.
But of course, if you really want to be updated and be ahead of those who only watch the anime , read the manga.... I think it's great! http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/smile.gif </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>
ssshhhh...Were trying to pull someone over to the darkside..All you need to do is read the manga, yes, start reading it.. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Can you still enjoy the anime even after reading the manga? i'm aware that instead of a 20 minute anime each week i'll be reduced to a manga that will take me 5 minutes to read but I just cant wait a week every time I want to see some Naruto action.
Should I, Should I not? People who have done this, what do you think?</td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>
