there is still the possibilty that shino is taking care of neji and chouji. and plans on catching up with naruto and co. hell he's probably makings sure jirobou and kidomarou are really dead and making them stay that way, makin his bugs eat them.

I like those characters but they should not come back all patched up and
shit, that would be corny.
chouji is a lil better off then neji and has a better chance of survival. but being this is still early in the series i would have to say that kishimoto is going to avoid having them die.
i could be wrong, but chouji is one of my favorite characters.
I'd say the opposite, Chouji is probably more likely of dying, just because they went through the trouble of empahisizing that taking all the pills would kill you.
Not to mention the butterfly symbolism, when he drops at the tree.
Neji may live but that is very unlikely. I expect chouji to be found and his
face covered with flies like a dead carcass, and neji dead with a crow picking
at his dull grey eyes.
I hope kishimoto at least kills one of them off, if he does'nt then they
might as well introduce magic dragonballs into the story.

I mean I still think the Zabuza/Haku arc was the best arc of the whole series by far. Zabuza is the only villan who actually *looks* like a ninja. And back then you actually thought Sasuke might die and that the sharingan/kyuubi was cool. Now it's just the same ol' same ol'.
personally i dont think their appearance is as great as everyone makes it out to be, all it will do is force longer fights with no clear winner for ages.
One thing, Naruto owned Gaara when Naruto accessed the Kyuubi chakra. Naruto couldnt even touch Kimimaro at the fullest Kyuubi chakra hes been in the whole series.
What the hell is Gaara going to do if Kimimaro hasnt even accessed level 2?
all the genins can hope to do is stall Sakon/Kimimaro and Tayuya - they wont win.

Konoha ninjas already learned how to work together, now, they will have to learn how to work with ex-enemies.
Likely, Lee and Gaara will work together, and so will Kankuro-Kiba and Shika-Temari. For me it's the most reasonable prediction. Not that I am known for being a reasonable person.
Bleh let them throw in Ino, Hinata and the rest. Maybe then we can get on with the story already.

once the opponent beats Gaara in speed then its all over for Gaara.... therefore when Kimimaro pulls out level 2 he'll win easily unless it turns him into a huge snail or something.

I think ino rescues choji, and hinata rescues neji...finally settling things between them, and me might apologize to her and what not. And every one talks about naruto getting completly beat as kyubi. It may just be my opinion but naruto always thinks to test the oppenant first, no matter how pissed he is. Against neji he threw all his clones at him and they got owned (of course like neji would get touched by garbage like clones HA!). But after he saw that was not going to work(obviously since he got owned by 64 points) he focused kyubi and owned neji. Kimi is really good, so he was able to deal with some kyubi clones that only need to be hit once. That is not really a good measure on how strong naruto was against him, i mean it was impressive but it did not mean he was going to beat naruto. Naruto would of owned him. And the only reason kimi got the drop on naruto was that he turned out of kyubi and was trying to talk to saske...naruto was not even touched yet. im pretty sure he would of dont quite fine. So gara should not have a problem, until he goes levl two which i cant wait for. i think it going to be a really good fight...with no one completely owning till the end. that how all of these fights have been, so i think it will be the same.
Side notes- i think shino is kool, and that he is chunin levl...him not being on this mission does not mean he is unimportant, every char was introduced with purposes and everyone can not be important in every arc. He is on a mission with his dad that means he is really good, cause his dad is an awesome ninja. i think shino is one of the best genin's.

I liked Shino to... he is very interesting. I however don't think that Kimi can take Garaa on... if push comes to shove Garaa can fully transform and crush kimi like a tiny bug

I don't think Baki will be the kazekage because he is on par with Genma, who got owned by a bunch of sound punks. I think Gaara is the hokage, since Naruto has showed him the ultimate power he got from protecting the people he cared for. Now Gaara would like to protect his village. His clothes changed, and I think those were the clothes of the dead kazekage as show in one of the episodes. I think no body in the wind country can beat gaara. Deep down I think Baki is scared shitless of Gaara. Were definately getting alot of fan service lately, espcially TEMARI!!!!!!! damn!! i demand some sexy no jutsu from temari. well some MORE.
