obito is kinda like naruto
like, during the scene with the mizu chuunins where sasuke did all the work but naruto froze up and couldnt do anything
cant believe obito got teary eyed though, and he tried to make an excuse that something got in his eye, lol
yea i agree that naruto and obito are alike. both outcasts and weak in the beginning. which would explain that obito will get better really fast like naruto. when the time comes instead of busting out a demon he'll pull out his sharingan
I don't necessarily think Obito would end up like Naruto. Obito's dead remember?
Plus, the girl being a healer, that was definitely expected since Tsunade recommended it to the council.
But I think it would be different this time around for girls in teams like Ino, Ten Ten and whatshernamesmallshirtwhiteeyegirl.
he will probably bust out his sharingan right before dying and kakashi will blame himself thats why he always is late, obito didnt hold rules close to his heart appearntly..... maybe thats kakashi's way of dealing with his death seeing as he dealt with his fathers death by being very strict with rules. i must say kakashi got a very weird way of dealing with important ppls deaths..... and i dont like the current kakashi he is to arrogant he resembles early neji and sasuke alot. yondaime is awesome tho, cool nickname, golden flash of konoha [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] and to get to know stuff about kakashi's family, if his fathers was strong enough to make the sannin seem like not much he must have been a hell of a powerful ninja, i wonder what kind of mission made a man like him trun around.
Really? I personally like the now Kakashi compared to the past. He seems more bitchy and whiney.
thats what i meant the old kakashi seen in this chapter is too much like sasuke and early neji, which sucks cause they suck. the now kakashi is way cooler he is more laid back and more like the 4th is in these chaps.
i hate it when people complaing about cocky characters.

I can't believe Kakashi's father made the Sannin look average - woah, how skilled/strong must he have been? I'm surprised he wasn't a Hokage candidate, especially since he was apparently so well respected. Damn, I'd love to see him in action, but there's virtually no chance that'll happen.
I think we can safely assume Yondaime killed the Stone-nin. They didn't show it because it would have been too cheesy to see him cut someone's throat. Hey I might be wrong, but do ninja tend to leave their enemies alive during a war?

If Kakashi's supposed to be a Chuunin right now about to be promoted to Jounin, how come he's not wearing a vest? I wouldn't have thought it would be an optional thing.

I just finished reading the chapter. I can't believe Obito. hes such a wimp. I don't think they should compare naruto to obito cause obito is to much of a wimp
You can tell that Kishimoto really knows what he's doing. Everytime a new piece of information is revealed we are left asking more questions and making more guesses. He's truly a great author in that respect.

I really don't think that was a copy. I think Yondaime was just moving ridiculously fast. That's why they call him Konoha's yellow flash.

Edit: Sorry that last part was so off-topic.
I'm guessing the reason were seeing this Flashback is to both show us what made kakashi ....kakashi. Also I think he is doing some forshadowing for how naruto will be and skills he will have when he returns. I don't think its a copy either for one rin anounces one he's not by any of his students two rin calls out what his move was three i don't think he got the nickname yellow flash and not have some incredible speed. Also is there any confrimation on how long this arc is gonna last i really can't see him goin off for more than a volume?
I'd give it like ten chapters tops, six at the least. I hope they come back to the normal story line a year and half or two years later after Naruto left the village wit ha few flash backs to fill the gaps. I just want the next arc to start.
I was just hit with a huge lightbulb moment. I can't beleive no one mentioned it before. I think Rin is still alive. I think she's that girl whose the current Anbu squad leader. The one that we see during the third hokage's funeral when Kakashi goes to visit Obito's grave. Makes sense since who else would know Obito. I know some of you will probably yell at me and say that her hair is a different color when she is younger but it could easily change as she got older or maybe she dyes it?

i love it when people think they are brilliant cuz they propose an idea that hasn't been mentioned yet.
but i don't think that's rin. it'd go against what kakashi said about his loved ones already being all dead.

and when you got marks it usually shows some type of distinctiveness about you and/or your clan.
