BOS: Obito is dead and so is Rin. Kakashi has said this several times. And no we never get enouhg Jounin on Jounin action I want to see the fourth take on that whole army front by him self that would make the past long ass arcs worth it.

I was gonna say we really need a proper translation for this chapter, but that's not true at all because you can pretty easily guess what they're saying...

I like Obito way more than I like Kakashi at this moment... why must the female ninjas be so damn useless? Only Tsunade is any good at all.

I think that Kakashi will go and complete the mission on his own, and since he's so good, he'll be able to do it perfectly. But then Obito comes back to the Leaf all wounded but he's got Rin, and he's developed the sharingan, he and Kakashi have a duel and Obito wins _because_ of the Sharingan, so Kakashi decides that OMG the sharingan is liek so kewl!!!!111 and that he wants one, in two more weeks Obito and Rin will be killed and Kakashi gets the sharingan, Kishimoto gets his winter vacation and in January we get 15 year old Naruto.


Answering Mut's week-old question of "WHERE IS WINGED DANCER?????", I'm studying for finals, spending 12 hours at school to get a fucking C because my school hates its students. 'Sides, we already have someone who "borrows" the translations from Narutofan, so I'd rather not loose my time on that -.-

Well you have to understand that young Kakashi didnt have the same beliefs that he does now, so its pretty obvious that he will develop those beliefs when Obito and Rin die.

This gaiden storyline is getting good. I hope it goes on for long enough to answer most of the big questions about Naruto.

i already thought it was good until this lame chapter came up [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] no action (...well Obito's fire thingy was okay...), lame story (useless Rin/Sakura gets captured, Obito acts like Naruto), and the fourth left :/

can't wait for the upcoming chapters though, so we can see how kakashi got his eye and hopefully see the fourth kick ass

you can't have action every chapter, you need some development,

and also i don't think rin is that bad, but put up against someone that is over your level.
she would be chuunin, and that guy would be jounin,
and she new she was gone before she got taken, but she didn't have the skill to notice earlier or get away, from someone easily superior to her.

On the subject of Rin, she did appear to be rather useless, but let's put a few things into perspective. A) Medical Ninjas and combat don't really go together. Tsunade and Kabuto are the MOST EXCEPTIONAL medical ninjas in the series. It's probably always been Rin's job to sit out on the sidelines and wait for the fight to end so she can heal her teammates. However, I hardly think she's as weak as everyone assumes. Please note the markings on her face, she's from Kiba's clan. That would make her very annoying to fight. Unless, of course, you're Jounin level. Here we see Kakashi, and he's good, but he's at the bottom tier of the jounin level right now, most likely, and he's the most powerful one on the team, the fourth aside. What chance did she really have at this point?

yeah i don't think she had much of a chance considering what they're up against.
i don't know if she is from kiba's clan, as she doesn't have a dog,
wouldn't everyone from that clan have a dog,
also with the strips there are others that have markings and from different clans or individuals.

Markings on her face don't necessarily mean Rin is from Kiba's clan. I mean, even Chouji and his father have face tatoos. But I agree on the medical nin things. Other than Kabuto and Tsunade, who is by the way (as you should all know), Hokage, we've only seen Shizune and the nameless medic nins that are obviously not combat oriented. That isn't an excuse for how weak most of the female nins are, especially ones taught by the fourth. It's a plot device, girl gets caught, some male protagonist saves her. Naruto is written for young boys, don't expect a masterpiece out of this one.

A medical nin probably wouldn't run around with dogs. Imagine the possibilities.

I have to say, I think Kakashi was correct in this situation, because if they abandoned the mission now it would present much greater problems later, considering it was such a crucial objective.

Saving your friends is important and all but in this situation I agree with him, especially with the fact that they won't hurt her if she looks after enemy casualties.

But then again, we know she dies, so... something goes wrong somewhere.

The markings on Rin's face are nothing like the markings of the Inuzuma clan, which usually end in sharp points. Her's don't.

Hm.... so Kakashi is faced with the same situation that ruined his father... the important mission or saving a friend. It's still difficult to tell which way he'll lean though. My money's on him trying to accomplish the mission solo, deciding against it and then chasing after Obito, leaving Yondaime to stomp on people solo (I'm sure he's .real worried.)
