nvidia geforce 6800 ultra, on the mac site there is a 30" LCD monitor with 12ms response time and usb support (costs $3300, so its out of my reach), and as of 10 seconds ago it seems my cpu fan died, so I need a new one of those too. *shuts down computer to go find a new fan*
A 5 string bass. Its well annoying not being able to learn certain songs properly cos of my damn 4 string. I've already spent my Xmas money in advance though (and besides I wouldn't have received enough for one anyway...the things are like £150 for a dirt cheap one in the shops near me...) on manga, games, DVDs and a t-shirt and hoodie from a Mad Capsule Markets concert...if I receive more than I have spent, then the rest will probably go towards the Killswitch concert next month...
I nearly decided to get a DS, but I'm gonna wait till some more games are out for it till I make up my mind...

Wouldn't you screw up your eyes looking at a 30' monitor? That's like sitting 2 feet away from your TV staring at a huge panel of flashing colors.Quote:

If you want a solid MP3 player, look into the Creative Labs Xen Xtra's (30gb, 40gb, and 60gb). I just got a 40gb one (they list in the store for the exact same price as a 4gb I-pod), and the nicest thing about it is data storage. Not sure that the I-pod can do that, although the I-pod can drain your wallet on all it's damned accessories (dock $50, car kit $60, AirPort for wireless access $130, Altec Lansing speakers $150, etc).
I can't really come up with anything I want for Xmas, nothing affordable anyways. I want shit like a huge DLP TV, massive computer for video editing, and a Nissan Skyline. Whatever I get, I'll probably just end up taking to a children's hospital, since I still get a lot of toys and stuff that I already have. Not like Fisher Price shit, but like TMNT figures, Star Wars, etc. that I've had forever. heh.
ipods can also be used as a portable hard drive, also there is a new thing called a iphoto i think,all i know is it has a colour screen and u can get it in 40 or 60 gig.
ipods are pretty good though, i have a 3rd gen 40 gig pod, works very nicely
LCD monitors aren't as bad as CRT monitors when it comes to how harsh they can be on your eyes. I just need it for programming, I can't stand it when i'm forced to break up a function call into 3 or 4 lines just so I can see it all on the screen at one time.Quote:
