Sebastian Strikes Back!
Episode 10 - a.f.k.
And Konata's dad seriously rocks.
I only watched the 1st episode before I got bored with all the taking, but I just watched the ending Karaoke with "Head Cha-La", and it was really cute and funny. :p
Haha, I Lol'd so hard with the Legendary Shoujo part (though I have no idea what it's a parordy /reference of).
I download this only for the Lucky Channel part
I don't think this series started really strong. I almost dropped it after the first ep, but decided to keep watching, mainly because with all the hype this feels like one of those series you need to watch to be well educated in anime (lots of references and stuff). However, now I'm perfectly happy with this. It certainly got better after the first episodes.Quote:

I was kind of surprised to see two of the girls from the OP in the anime. To be honest, what really surprised me was that they weren't voiced by the same old lady that does all the other side characters. It's no wonder we haven't seen them before, they're in Kagami's class, where she obviously never spends time.
I'm guessing from the profile that Yui's-neesan's little sister is the redhead from the OP. Maybe we'll see a lot more of the girls in the OP come spring semester.
Is Yui good at being a cop, or totally worthless? That segment made it very confusing.
Who else feels really bad for Nanako-sensei?
Heh. The sensei character is as traditional as it can be. In how many animes exactly have we seen female teachers having a crisis of singleness? Too many to count.
It seems like Konata's old man is getting screen time steadily. That's jolly good. You just never know what that weido is going to do next. Even Konata herself looks pretty normal in comparison... Though it's amusing how she treats him as if there was nothing out of ordinary, so that alone raises her oddity factor, naturally.
Haha, I loved the static part especially the part with Konata's dad.
About that old lady that does the other side characters, because it's the same voice actor, I can't shake the creepy feeling that a somewhat less malevolent Orochimaru is speaking out of them.Quote:

This was probably one of my favourite episodes, if only for the ending Karaoke song. I don't think I've ever smiled so much from a single song. I grew up on Doraemon and hearing that song after so many years just sent a wave of nostalgia through me. It's probably very shallow of me to say this but my appreciation for this show has jumped up a couple notches because of this one episode. Oh well, its not like Lucky Star is a particularly deep anime anyway, just some carefree entertainment with its moments. I look forward to the next episode!
Ah aha!
Konata's dad is too funny.
Great episode.
Poor teacher..
Lucky Star OP in Live-Action
It's pretty damn accurate and I choked on my drink while watching this. It's way too funny, although the girls look so damn weird.
Also, Yui's car rocks, haha.
I did too! She was just all by herself on Christmas! Does this mean that she has no family or is Christmas just something that is not as important in Japan as it is in North America?Quote:

Episode 7 Lucky Chanel, I nearly died from watching this part.
That Live Action OP of Lucky Star is awesome. More Cosplayers should do their own variation. :)
