Fap fap fap?
That's one strange fetish.
hmmm.... Now when I recommend anime to friends, I can only recommend Bake and not Nise.
I wonder what happened after they cut the rest of round 2.
They got "Closer". :D
Is anything that happened in this series past episode 7 even part of the novel?
They should all be faithful adaptations, so even though I have not read it, I think so.
Well, I didn't like the last arc of the series. Weird mutual sibling molestation is weird, and that fight against Yodzuru was just...more of him getting his ass kicked and her letting him go for no reason I can actually buy. Along with Bakemono, I did enjoy the series up until that point though. Hopefully the stuff that comes after gets animated and doesn't suck.
Movie will cover Kizumonogatari - and that novel was awesome.
Yes, I can vouch for that. It is my favorite of the bunch. It is also very shounen oriented, for those who like that.
Coalgirls - [720p]
Was anyone still waiting for the BDs?
Hmm, well that was pretty alright.
Karen's arc was a bit weak IMO, so I can't really put Nisemonogatari alongside Bakemonogatari even if it was overall quite an enjoyable watch. While the message behind both encounters was still essentially GTFO, Kaiki didn't feel like he put much much of a resistance. That was probably largely because he can't actually do anything in the first place, but it doesn't change my opinion that the resolution felt anticlimactic.
Tsukihi's OP might even dethrone Sengoku's - I like them both.
This was utter shit compared to Bakemonogatari. It was mostly Bakemonogatari stripped of everything that wasn't fanservice.
If it weren't for Shinobu's bath scenes, I would actually dislike this.
It lost a lot of drive compared to Bakemonogatari because the arcs weren't really about exorcism. Karen's arc was about getting rid of Kaiki while Tsukihi's was about getting rid of the duo. There wasn't any real "twist" or smart way about those problems besides learning about the supernatural identity and then confronting them about it. (Tsukihi's phoenix was more interesting in this regard).
I suppose I could be too lenient since I marathon this. Someone on this forum marathoned Shana II and had a much better opinion on it compared to my weekly agony.
The dialogue was weaker because it only involved the two sisters, who hardly said anything as interesting as Gahara-san or Cat Woman. Bakemonogatari was always about the dialogue. Nise had better action, but that was about it.
