Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought that was kinda weird since pakkun hasn't been introduced yet. Also, in one of the episodes, you see that Naruto has a kakashi plush doll (I think its like ep 1 or 2 before he actually met Kakashi).
pakkun has been introduced just not as clearly as he has been now it was in episode 16/17 when kakashi is fighting zabuza and pakkun is on a strap hanging of zabuza's face its just we havn't seen him till now so clearly
