I guess it should be said now but nowhere has it been confirmed how many episodes GSD will be. It'd be safe to assume that they will try to wrap up the series to be 50 episodes but that would seem a bit rushed considering everything is starting to pick up. They could do it though.
If the real lacus does die kira will go more mental than shinn, strike freedom and kira will become like heero in wing zero or zecks in epion

With Kira in Strike Freedom, if he were to go crazy psycho SEED mode, nothing could beat him. Dragoon System under Kira's control will be unbeatable. Athrun, Cagali, Neo, Ramius, and the entire crew of Archangel MIGHT be able to talk him out of going strait to Dulindal and cutting out his heart (with his FINGERS).Quote:

I guess its confirmed that it was dullindal who planned to assassinate Lacus.

Just to go on the record now, I'm going to guess that its a giant, omnidirectional Neutron Stampeder (theres a reason it was shown earlier), capable of hitting every nuke and nuclear plant in the solar system... So I'm sitting here at work, reading some posts about Rey, and it hits me. My most brilliant prediction yet.
Dullindal will kill Rey.
Think about it: Dullindal is the great manipulator. Rey is just a tool to him, and it will be his ultimate Evil Deed. he will send Rey to his death without a second thought, and the only question left in my mind is whether Rey will realise how used he was.
