Sharingan can read the movements of an enemy that's why it can copy taijutsu but naruto could copy lee's tajutsu too by seeing it once. So the sharingan is no big deal againts taijutsu exept from ready the movements.

Sharingan cant copy chakara control.. so it cant copy Kaiten or Rasengan.. not the 8 gates ether..
