Hah, it's great that they didn't play Wham out to be stupid. It's not that he doesn't know what Jojo's getting at. It's simply the fact that his pride won't allow him to kill the guy - not reduce his IQ to 70.
Then ACDC (lolwut name) throws another bind in for good measure. Even if Caesar is the grandson of Zepelli, in effect it looks more like a Jojo/Dio tag-team.
