Man 43 was pretty interesting and i like how their struggle keeps on.
Aye, I really liked 43 as well. Seeing the old guy play catcher was great, and the setup for the game in the next episode was awesome. Hopefully 44 will be out soon (already out in french, which hopefully means it'll be out in english soon), as the suspense is killin' me :D
From the previews it seems that the team they are playing really sucks, I wonder what's the deal with that.
This show is amazingly good, i would call it better than Ippo. The drama around the sport is much much better written in Major than it is in Ippo, that's the main reason i love this show. The story is so well written, i just hope someoen picks up the manga soon appearently it is up to vol 58 in Japan.
Bud: They must be faking it cause we saw what Muwamura guy did to Goro.
PSJ: Major is awesome but to compare it to Ippo is alittle.....
I'd have to watch the episode again, but was the Muwamura guy promised a varsity spot, not a junior varsity spot?
He was on the team that will play team which means he is on the varsity team. He should be since he was playing for the team that crushed Goro and co.
gah! These strategically placed endings are killing me, the suspense is too much! Overall I liked the episode, especially the pride that Sato showed.
Yeah, this was a good episode... I'm pissed that we never get to see Goro play, and when he is handed the ball the episode ends. I'm guessing that he'll dominate for a while, and then get crushed by someone.
Yeah it was good but very annoying that it ended when Goro got in the game.
I liked how Sato shined this with his cleverness.
I dont he will dominate all of next ep cause its called "scholars ability"
what a shitty school Kaido is, with a game that that teaches them pain. Im starting to dislike that Goro joined,he should have joined another team and played against Kaido.
Ya, I would've also preferred Goro joining some non-elite team and beat the crap out of Kaido but then again, that direction would've been repetitive and boring, since he's done that twice now, right? I think what'd be awesome is if he and Toshi manage to lay the smack down on the varsity team, and then transfer to another school to actually compete with the Kaido baseball team in nationals. That would rule.
I would like that more cause this school is sooo annoying.
I like the angle the show takes from here, it's just not the normal "underdog beating the elite" which i find very repetitive and boring since it's always that way in sports anime, some loser guy who isn't good at anything finds himself fairly good at something and then starts training his ass off to beat the genius with natural ability through some kind of miracle. Now we get to follow that genius and the constant struggle to be on top even for someone born with natural ability, cause that is the truth in all sports.
Thats why Ippo and Major are the only two realistic sport series and really good ones.'

Looks like Saizen's continuing to sub Major(joint with hell-fansubs):

I coulndt careless cause they arent half as good as MJN or as fast.
Awesome ep, the most entertaining baseball game so far.
I like that they have started using Fort Minor music like Remember the name song.
