To be honest Konekomaru isn't really so interesting I'd have cared much for his fate, and thus I've only been waiting, in vain, for a scene between Rin and Shiemi. They haven't had a chance to talk at all ever since the incident. But at least I think the flame/candle training Rin has been suffering through lately is very sensible and in some way even interesting, so these eps aren't all bad. The possessing vulture demon itself was also a jolly apparition.
Fuck shemi, eyebrows ftw. She's both waifu and bro material.
Even if I risk repeating myself, it's starting to really bother me there has been virtually no interaction between Rin and Shiemi ever since the incident. This episode felt like a filler, so in that sense it didn't matter that much, but it's strange in any case.

The series is cool and all, but they could air the ep a bit late instead of giving us the fillers..

Prolly would have liked this a bit more if Rin burning the web wasn't predictable right from the start, but it was still pretty good. Wifey being a possible animal hybrid and some Grandfather popping up wasn't though. I hate the new Paladin fellow. He calls Shiro the worst Paladin ever because of what, because he doesn't throw his arrogance around?
Rin getting rid of the webs by burning them was so obvious I only wondered why it took him so long to do it. Because everybody and their cousins all the time (out of envy) keep telling him not to use the flames?
Polish quote is wrongly translated, it is way milder - it says 'i won't let go the one connected to satan' not the 'Satan's kin must die', while it implied some kind of punishment, but it didn't imply death.

It's always Yukio's type of people who will most easily get used by the evil masterminds. People who strongly desire something, are desperate to protect something, have a strong sense of justice yet lack experience and so end up seeing things black and white. I don't quite get why Rin meekly walked to be crucified instead of fighting back like he usually does.
Everything also happened too fast. This sort of plot should have taken a season worth of episodes to build slowly and nefariously, not only a few eps.
Not exactly unexpected, the grandpa reeked of evil a mile away
My biggest question by far is how the gramps managed to totally rule over the Vatican. He got put in jail, and now he's totally overthrown them, yet everybody seems to accept his rise to power as a totally legit way.
I have way more questions than that... but this is filler and these are the final episodes so i'm making the effort of not thinking too hard
It's so OOC for Yukio to try and kill Kuro at that point. They did not need to eradicate all demons, and he knew that. They just needed enough demon blood to perform the ritual.
That certainly explains everything: They went to Studio Pierrot and borrowed a couple of filler script writers. I should have recognized the unique excellence of the writing instead of thinking this story simply sucks towards the end.Quote:
