Because if you were a guy, you'll realise that there's no mercy for treason. Especially for all the bloodshed. Death of so many people (Neji and Chouji), and you can just come back and say 'sorry' ?

It's maybe not as bad as Itachi, massacring the whole village.

But to run away for selfish desires, there's no place for someone like Sasuke. Knowing that he can do such a thing, what next would he do if he's pushed to finding a greater source of power?

He's no different that Orochimaru, acquiring power through all means necessary to kill his brother.

Whats next? Killing Naruto to steal the kyuubi? Stealing the big scroll like naruto did in the first episode? Purposely fighting against other clans to steal their jutsu's with his sharingan?

I dont think that you have realize that Sasuke did not kill Naruto and thats obvious, so Sasuke realized something and will change....I'm sure and its not sure that neji and Chouji are really dead, I belive it, when I see it with my own eays and for that I think they live^^

sasuke's last chidori did not even penetrate naruto's shirt, because, as i mentioned before, sasuke in the last second decided to switch to a blunt jab at his heart instead of a penetrating stab right through his body.
he did this because he couldnt bring himself to killing naruto.

and sasuke's forehead protector falling off seemed to be of his own doing, imo....since it was still tied and when he was standing there. And its not like there was a big gash in his head after his protector came off to reveal that he indeed took more damage as a result of their encounter.

Sasuke's chidori did not even penetrate naruto's shirt, because the chidori never even made contact with Naruto's body. The chidori had already been defused by Naruto's resengan on the last page of the previous chapter. In this chapter neither Sasuke nor Naruto where using special attacks. Just look at the pictures in this chapter, not once was the resengan or chidori visible in either ninja's hands.

I think Naruto is actually the winner, it's obvious that he's exhausted because of the great amount of chakra que used on the fight... but what about sasuke? where is he?

it still doesnt change the fact that sasuke was standing there......and naruto was lying on the ground unconscious

When you see sasuke taking his arm and spitt blood im sur it's because of the rasengan!...When you look back at kabuto it did the same thing no?...But there only one thing i dont understand...why did naruto attack the forhead and not on the body or even on the raikiri? ..

no, they show a sharp pain coming from his left side, near his neck

this indicates to me, that the pain is coming from the curse seal

so... another sign that Naruto is the winner: Sasuke's Forehead is scratched, isn't it?

Naruto one in more of a symbolic way sasuke said he couldn't scratch his forehead protecetor so naruto scratch it so im gussing it never was narutos intention to hit saskues body but to show sasuk that he could beat him. I think at the end of 233 he try saying he lost cause naruto scratch his forehead plate porving him wrong.

Is everyone still disappointed with the series/arc? Personally, I think the last 5 or 6 manga have substantially advanced the series as a whole.

Naruto lost, Sasuke appears to have shed his past with the village, and new bonds have been unearthed between the two. Moreover, Kyubi is having a larger impact - we now have to consider his effect on Naruto's mental and physical state. Can he be contained?

Frankly, although the arc was (painfully) long, and somwhat gratuitous in parts, I don't think Kishomoto has disappointed. I personally feel a renewed interest in the series.
