What makes Inuyasha shitty is Inuyasha...He's such a fucking ass. Kagome sucks too. The real saving grace to that series is the one movie where you get to see the father "Inu no Taishou" If not for him and Sesshoumaru, I'd have really no interest at all in it. Not to mention the main villian is the biggest fucking coward, he seriously makes the French look lionhearted. Inuyasha gets a C for 2 great characters....but shitty main characters.

Personally I would agree with those that say while it's not the best anime ever Inyuasha rises high above other animes. Inyuasha kept its bad guys usually in the gray area of life keeping them from complete evil. The anime had enough moments to keep it above animes like Star Ocean Ex, and most of the additional Pokemon seasons.

How about all of the above. Well, not all of the characters are. But Inuyasha himself looks pretty shitty, has a one track mind, says the stupidest fucking things ever, acts like a dog for "cute effect", and calls everyone a bastard. InuYasha did get in a slump with the same shit over and over. The biggest gripe I have about this series deals with Naraku... he was so bad-ass but hardly ever took the offensive in a battle. It was just always him getting attacked over and over and surviving.
Hakudoushi and Sesshoumaru ruled that show.
