What do you mean you never liked "aquatic" Gundams, isn't Abyss the first one of the first ones? The only others I can think of are Forbidden Blue and Deep Forbidden, both of which are MSVs that didn't acctually appear anywhere until after Abyss.
I just dislike the whole "aquatic mobile suit" idea in general. Aquatic mobile suit is dead duck once it comes out of the water.

That does not automatically qualify me as SF fanboy. In SEED i liked Strike (except for that ridiculous Agni cannon pack) Duel (strong generic Gundam), Buster (big-gun kickass) and Blitz (black, stealthy)
In GSD i like Sword Impulse (strong melee) and Gaia (black, kinda Deathschythe-esque) the most. Blast pack is ridiculous, Impulse should fall over trying to use that thing.
