i bet he is gonna change cars, now that some ppl have actually found out why the 86 is so awesome downhill. If more ppl figure out that then its only gonna be much more harder for tak, and he will eventually lose.

Thats can been seen in the latest eps, how he knows that the 86 cant win againt the new car,he is trying to tune it so it can but its impossible cause there are cars that is even better the blue car.

Bunta saying that Tak must realize the greatness of the new cars and that he doesnt want Tak to stay a 86 specielts allt the time. Means that he want Tak to wake up and realize that he needs a better a car. Bunta even said that he wont become better and will lose soon if he doesnt change cars cause he wont become better if he doesnt learn how to handle diffrent cars..

Bunta didnt say that, he wanted Takumi to drive more than 1 car so he stops specialising in his 86 so as to gain an understanding of what other cars are capable of, there strength/weakness and how the 86 compares.
