are you kidding me? Goku's trainning with Kami was the longest arc in Dragonball, they spent five episodes on showing how he fails to learn "to move like the lightning".. it almost stopped me from watching the anime, it was much better in the manga...

anyway, they should use the filler episodes for Cowboy bebop/A-team like episodes, present a problem, device a plan to solve it, mess up the plan and then win using a last minute imporvisment of whatever...
as long as they don't pretend that everything is a life or death situation, and that every charecter should have a sad, tragic past and an annoying resemblance to Naruto, they can pull it into a good enjoyable 20 mintues...

of course, they don't seem capable of doing so.
