Also, I am of the opinion the whole "Rey is gay" thing originated under false pretenses. While Rey's reaction to Dulindal at that one point was certainly odd, it is certainly in line with the behavior of someone seeing a father figure after a long separation, especially given that Rey's social developement might be a bit stunted.
I thought Rey was odd when he got all emotional too, at first, but after learning more about his past it suddenly makes much more sense.
