yeah .... disgaea was the shizznit.
I've already dumped some arbitrary amount of time greater than 250 hours into it. Every time I think I'm done, I take a break, play something else for a while, and then after a while end up bouncing back to it.
I fear the voice acting though. The game's japanese cast was good, but the english cast was IMPECCABLE. I really hope they can get the same voice cast for the anime, 'cause .... yeah, it'd be a shame not to.

Strategy role playing game publisher NIS America Inc. is pleased to announce that a TV anime series based off Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is in the works by D-Rights, Inc., Geneon, Inc., and Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. The animated series will be broadcasted in Japan in the spring of 2006.
About Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

The story takes place two years after the death of King Krichevskoy, the ruler of the Netherworld.
