Episode 142 Discussion

I was being sarcastic when I said this was an awesome episode, seemed like a sitcom, all campy and shit. The mood and overall goofiness of the episode was all wrong for Naruto, everything seemed all sweet and retarded, just like the legendary stupid brothers. This should be called "The make you stupid for watching arc." I hope its only three eps long like one of the above posters said but we will see. Until then I cant wait to se the next craptastic episode, woo hoo!

Roughly half of it... all the scenes with the other genin kids is manga material, as well as Sakura's scene in the beginning. Everything related to Mizuki, the prison and the stupid brothers etc is filler. It's quite easy to tell actually. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

also instead of jailing like a thousand ninjas so they can do manual labour on some silly island thing or watever a huge safety risk, i mean wouldnt it be better to just execute them instead. it was obvious as soon as we saw the prison that the guards were obviously understaffed

What surprised me about this episode was the fact that "criminal ninjas" are kept in a prison rather than executed. I mean common..in real life, the prisoners are stripped with all weapons and the guardes are armed to the teeth..how would that be the case of ninjas? Wouldn't they still have their skills and techniques? The only thing you can really takea way are the kunais. They really need to think the filler episodes out at least..

Yeah, surely they would execute the Stupid Brothers, since they're retarded, super-strong ninjas that killed their partners 'cause they were hungry and can leave the jail whenever they want...

WTF is with this whole Mizuki-Orochimaru conspiracy crap? Why the hell would Orochimaru want Mizuki? Last I checked he got his ass kicked by Naruto (very easily, mind you) at the beginning. So I always thought he was kinda a pussy.

And I love how they keep his face in shadow, trying to make him look all badass. Not as if we've seen him before or anything.



Oh yeah, he looks like a real threat...

Well the only real way to lock up a ninja, is to

1 give them one of them seals like Naruto has, to fuck up their chakra
2 Cut off their hands and feet
3 Gouge out their eyes, cause they could be an Uchiha
4 Surgically remove all their bones
5 Frezze them in fucking carbonite
and most importantly
6 Make them watch "reality" TV all day and hear the same songs over and over again like on the radio


Then you'll have a bunch of prisoners that will crack and never do anything wrong again, partially cause they can't, and partially cause they'll be insane.

You know.. I just noticed something else. When Naruto got there Kurenai still had her clothes on....WTF is up with that? Big ninja prison and some fucking hot chick with red eyes comes strolling in the front door? These are the most mediocre and docile inmates I've ever seen. And where were all the guards? What were there like a grand total of like....um 3 in the whole fucking prison!?

This leaves me to this conclusion. Some of you are saying stop bitching about the fillers. Well, in one way you're right, stop bitching cause no matter how much you do its not going to make it any better! But on the other hand with this episode its very clear what was filler and what was not. If you cannot tell the difference , you have no mental analytical depth to your brain at all.

This ep was great. I don't even care about Naruto, after 2years Neji is gonna be so bad ass after being trained by Hiashi [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. To who ever said something about Oro wanting Mizuki that's wrong he could care less bout him what he wanted was the scroll. And to who ever went on about the prison not having enough guards it's only been said like 10x that they do not have enough Ninja's after the attack which is the reason why the prison was guarded by a few Chuunins.

i'll just try to ignore that, like other posters pointed out, this new arc is full of nonsense and try to predict the upcoming fight...
first, mass clones beat up all the mass production convicts, then stupid brothers join up and are very hungry and think rasengan looks like food and get their heads blown off. then mizuki gets pounded by another clone army...again.
