Isso was right. About the episode, anyway. Who knows where he got the name for that pose. This is right before the Chuunin Exam. Episode 22.

Gai appears on the summoned turtle that initially scolds Lee for preparing to open the Initial Gate, in that pose. If you're really looking just for that scene .. it's about thirteen minutes into the episode. Fourteen or so, counting the intro.
