The atsuki will tell Tobi to kill Orchimaro in order to get in. That way it will be ensured that we see Sasuke in the next arc. I can see it already. Tobi goes in and owns a bunch of Orchimaru's cursed seal goons then faces off against a new and improved Sasuke.

lobster, im inclined to think yeah your right. Akatsuki will make theirmove for naruto, and Orochimaru- Sasuke will appear in thisparticulararc- it would be kinda cool, if the story split and we weer in Sound village for a bit, and through a series of worldeven end up where we left off atsome point with the people in Kohona.
-We will see another epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke, of course showing off all the knowledge of orochimaru and jyraiya (maybe here is when we will see "that jutsu"). At the end of the battle Sasuke realizes that he was wrong and return with Naruto and co.
-Sasuke will kill Itachi, but before itachi dies he ask for sasuke forgiveness. while he does that, we see a flashback of why he entered akatsuki
-Akatsuki will revive that monster statue.
-A battle similar to the one of konoha village against the kyubi will be held against akatsuki's monster. In the end, Naruto apear on gamakichi and use the forbiden sealing jutsu to seal the spirit inside of his newborn child, the love product of Hinata and him.

I think the main battle are almost as listed above..however Sasuke's willbe against Itachi- Sasuke( im no sasuke fan boy ) is whats going to cause Akatsuki problems when they go after Orochimaru. Becaseu Itachi will not be able to fight, or focus on the real fight against Orochimaru. Naruto will be concerned for sasuke there is very good liklyhood that we are going to see a battle royal. a seroius one. many people will die.
Orochimaru, is a jinchuriki( this is when he left the akatsuki IMHO) - the 8th demon Naruto will defeat Orochimaru....or rather the kyuubi will defeat the 8 headed snake
the Kyuubi is going to be changed by naruto as well, so they will defeat Orochimaru-sama. There is somewhat foreshadowing to Orochimaru being a Jinchuriki... via morino hibiki

Do you really think that Orchimaro is a jinjurinki? If he is it would seem like there would be some sort of mentioning about it by now by either jiraiya or tsunande. If he is it would just be dumb since Kishimoto would be pulling it out of his ass. Plus why would oro have any reason to fear itachi if he had the second strongest bichu beast? Then again considering how kakashi got the mangekyou sharingan (that still hasn't been explained) I can only assume that anything goes even if it contradicts information that has already been established.
Ok people, we are sure that Kakashi got the mangekyou sharingan without killing a friend, acording to the info on the manga and anime. We also know that Sasuke is going to get it. So Kishimoto is gonna have to explain the other two forms of getting the mangekyou, the sasuke and the kakashi form.
would it be that kakashi lures sasuke back by telling him he'll teach him the secret to getting mangekyou without killing a friend...
Naaa, my guess is that he is gonna show it off the first chance he have. Im assuming he already has the mangekyou sharingan.
i wouldn't think so, with his limited knowledge of the sharingan compared to kakashi, and i doubt orochimaru will even try to think of another way... he like sthe idea of friend killing friend too much... wait a tick, maybe sasuke whent to orochimaru with the intent of becoming better friends with oro than that he was with naruto, and then he kills orochimaru, gaining his mangekyou, relieving lot of people and aiming his focus back to itachi and the akatsuki...

Also i don't really think Orochimaru knows anything about Sasuke's intent to gain the mangekyou Sharingan because its probably the ability that makes Itachi surpass oro and i dont that he really wants sasuke to get stronger than himself at this point. I am pretty sure it is SASUKE's desire
