She might be Shana from Shakugan no Shana...but she's massively out of character since Shana didn't act cute when her hair was red she acted badass.

Hey, you're right. The clothes resemble Shana. However, the hair was much more orange than that.

Haha! I get the pics from japanese and taiwan sites mostly.... The character is Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Kenren should feel ashamed! Even I recognized this character immediately, and I certainly don't have a track record of connecting the names and looks of cosplay characters.
That was indeed a very good Asuka. Although in my memories Asuka will always remain a bit more wicked than this cosplayer portrays her (or the drawn pic Comp posted).
Everyone should be able to recognize the Eva cosplays, unless it's horrendously bad or something.
That Asuka cosplay is by no means horrible, but I've definitely seen better Asukas. This one's hair is kinda limp and her hair-clip-things are floppy. If I'm not mistaken, I think that Mika girl (or whatever) that Psyke keeps posting has also done Asuka before, and it was pretty good.
It's also funny how no one ever really does Shinji since he's just kinda...normal. I wonder if there's any good Misato Katsuragi cosplay out there.
