    Shakugan no SHANA

    I really liked this episode, a good way of wrapping up the flashback.

    Tenmoku Ikko was one badass mofo. But, because he kept fighting Tomogara AND Flame Haze did that mean that he didn't care what side the eventual wielder of Nietono no Shana would be on? If a Tomogara had defeated him... A mercenary swagger indeed. I got the impression he was seeking a powerful wielder, no matter if they were good or evil.

    Shiro's backstory was most enjoyable. A Tomogara falls in love with a Flame Haze, now that is an example of Fate being a bitch. Not eating humans for all those years must have been hell...

    The woman who said "Oh, someone died." Seems to be the Queen Beryl figure of Masque Balle, the organization of Tomogara. I recall Vine-Eyes (motorcycle Tomogara) saying that she gave him that key some time ago. Looks like it was just an energy bomb that would go off when the host died, and also notify her of the death. And I'm sure when this person comes it'll be to get Yuji.

    Next episode: Khamsin, a tuner, comes to town. That thing he/she carries is so damn big. Also, that girl who has a crush on Yuji finds out about Guze, or something along those lines. Should be interesting. Now we have 4 kids from Yuji's class who know about Guze. Wonder when Ike will get clued in...

    EDIT: I just found this on Point Blank, and I'm not sure what exactly it is, but as I'm DLing rather slowly right now I figured I'd post the links here. It is from Eclipse and is called Shakugan no Shanatan

    EDIT again: Ok, ok. So I just watched "episode 1" of Shakugan no ShanaTAN. It's actually only about three minutes long, and it is pretty hilarious in parts. I love that they got the voice actors and animators to actually make fun of their own show. I always thought SHANA was a show that really played into all the anime stereotypes and vices, to the point of almost being campy. I won't spoil the premise of ShanaTAN for you though.

    Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
