funny that you should say those things Jad.

Just watched episode 4. I like how this show has bright animation and really light-hearted humor sometime (along with the brotherly love that is so sappy sweet), but there aren't any qualms about showing the nastier side of things to.

A little boy, missing an arm and a leg, sitting on a bed saying he wants to join the military, just like that, without any 'dramatic' focus or shading or any effect that usually goes along with images like that. I am a sucker for artistic flourishes (see e7) but this kind of 'detailed but not overelaborate' style is quite nice.

And even the side characters seem to have a good amount of thought put into them as well. I think i'm going to enjoy this show
