cool DBZ, though you probably wont answer, are your breaks organized? (like every 2 months you return home?) (i'm guessing your home right now)

they're organized up to some point, usually i get the weekend off every two weeks, but since now's the holidays season, i'll have a bit more time off, after the beret march (black beret for the armored corps!) i'll get an entire week off, since it'll be about four months since i've started.
also, i'll then be transported to a diffrent base, a bit closer to home, aka, remotly close to civilazation (in israel terms, of course, in american terms my current base isn't very far away).
well, i really should get to bed, good night, good week, and for those of you who celebrate, good year and good Yom Keepoor.

36 months?? 3 years?? That seems like an awful long time for obligatory service... man am I ever glad I've got boobs and therefore (at least in my country) are pardoned of doing military service.
Anyway its good to read you're doing well. Shame they moved those guys away, but at least they'll be safer... right? Well, hope you don't have to shoot at anything ever and that that first assigment of yours goes well.
